Susan M. Tillery to Present at the 2016 AICPA Edge Experience

ATLANTA - July 29, 2016 - PRLog -- Susan M. Tillery, CPA/PFS, CFP®, President and CEO of Paraklete® Financial, Inc. (PFI), will be a speaker at the AICPA's EDGE Experience Conference, the Young CPA Network's Premier Career Development Event on August 3-5, 2016 at the Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa in Las Vegas, NV.

Susan Tillery and Mark Astrinos will present the "Value-Added Financial Planning Services" session at the conference on Thursday, August 4^th.  CPA's attending the session will learn how to add value to their firm's clients and bottom line, by implementing Personal Financial Planning services in their CPA firms. Ms. Tillery will discuss The Economic Benefits of Financial Planning Services. Specifically, she will share how an astounding 79% of firms were profitable in their first year of providing PFP services and how the CPA profession has naturally evolved to include Personal Financial Planning. Attendees will discover the implementation resources and business opportunities available, as well as career paths to becoming a CPA Financial Planner.

Susan earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in Accounting from the University of Georgia. She holds the professional designations of Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).

Susan is a member of both the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA). In addition, she is Chair of the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Credential Committee. She serves on the Board for The National Center for Stewardship and Generosity, as well as the Advisory Board for Leading the Next Generation.  She has also served as past Vice Chair for the Board of Directors for Partnership against Domestic Violence.
