LONDON - July 20, 2016 - PRLog -- "This research study found an intriguing link between the variability of LDL (bad cholesterol) measurements on long term follow up and brain function.

"As LDL is calculated from other measures it remains unclear whether this is a direct effect or a reflection of fluctuations of other blood factors, which are also known to affect blood flow.

"It will be important to look at other populations to see if the findings are consistent and to gain a better understanding of the mechanisms before recommending any changes in diet or lifestyle advice."
