Enermatics, MidCity partner on smart prepaid utility systems

PRETORIA, South Africa - July 4, 2016 - PRLog -- MidCity Property Group, an established provider of holistic property solutions and Enermatics Energy (Pty) Ltd, a leading provider of smart metering technology solutions, have entered into a partnership agreement in order to provide a comprehensive package of smart utility management services to the property industry.

MidCity Property Group, via its MidCity Utilities (Pty) Ltd subsidiary, has announced an alliance with Enermatics, part of the Infotech Group, a leading provider of smart metering technology and power solutions.

Enermatics' service and support is designed to help clients manage bulk energy consumption, as well as individual premises consumption and even control high electricity demand appliances like geysers and swimming pool pumps.

As a result of the partnership MidCity Utilities will now incorporate a smart prepaid electricity system into its available meter reading service offering.

MidCity Utilities has purchased Enermatics' existing electricity reseller customer base and will now become the customer-facing entity to handle all client interaction, effective 1 July 2016.

Heinrich Venter, Director at Enermatics reaffirms that it is 'business as usual' and nothing changes in terms of the company's value proposition. Going forward it will focus on its core expertise - technology.

Our purchase of the Enermatics electricity reselling business and the new partnership means an expansion of our existing prepaid metering offering through MidCity Utilities."
