Dr. Edward Dourron Named One of Atlanta's Top Doctors for 2016

ATLANTA - June 23, 2016 - PRLog -- Atlanta fertility specialist Dr. Edward Dourron has been awarded Castle Connolly's peer nominated Top Doctor award for Atlanta in 2016. That ranks Dr. Dourron of Servy Massey Fertility Institute as a top doctor on both the national and regional level.

Each year, close to 100,000 physicians are nominated by their peers as part of Castle Connolly's selection process. A rigorous screening process then identifies Top Doctors as the best in their region in their medical specialty. Finally, the Top Doctor award is given to a select few physicians.

Dr. Dourron joined Servy Massey Fertility Institute in early 2015. His specialties include reproductive endocrinology, robotic surgery for myomectomy, endometriosis, and tubal ligation reversals, surgical infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss and in vitro fertilization (IVF).

He recently gave testimony to the Food and Drug Administration recommending the minimally invasive surgical removal of the Essure device used in many tubal ligations. In his testimony, Dr. Dourron said that thousands of women have had unnecessary hysterectomies to remove the problematic device.

Dr. Dourron is from a family of physicians, including his mother and three brothers. He is a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and speaks Spanish fluently.
