True Story Revenue Sharing Websites Who Stole My Articles

Writers wanting to have proper contracts getting paid to write for content websites should take careful proactive evaluation of these type venues.

OKLAHOMA CITY - June 20, 2016 - PRLog -- Approximately 9 years ago (the current year being 2016), I was writing for an online content website, that covered many subject categories. I submitted and published, 75 of my own articles at this multi-topic site that were in about a half-dozen of their subject categories. I was earning an AdSense revenue share from the site CEOs but they suddenly decided that they were no longer going to share incoming revenue with writers who were contracted with them. This even meant that articles already-published by writers would be included in this revenue share cut off! When I realized they had made this extremely unfair decision, I wrote them the following email, letting them know that I would not be allowing them to do this to me, which amounted to intellectual property theft in my opinion. I wrote to this site and the email I sent them is included in this article. My email worked and the website released all of my articles back to me, along with an apology. My story will hopefully serve as a warning to other writers who decide to write for revenue sharing websites.
