Major software re-write provides foster+freeman GRIM users with added functionality

EVESHAM, U.K. - June 20, 2016 - PRLog -- A major software release is now available for the foster+freeman GRIM 3, a laboratory instrument for the forensic analysis and grouping of glass fragments.

Available immediately, version 3.0.1.1 of the GRIM 3 GLASS software is fully Windows 10 compatible and provides improved system functionality through the inclusion of FRAG ANALYSER, an evidence interpretation tool previously only available as a stand-alone software package.

Visually, the GRIM 3 GLASS front-end user interface has seen significant improvements, including a new uncluttered Case Overview layout with superior visibility of glass measurements and groupings.

Part of the ffTA forensic trace evidence analysis instrument, all new GRIM 3 installations will be shipped with software version 3.0.1.1.
