MP Marks Adam Barnes' Rise Through the Ranks With a Presentation

WARRINGTON, U.K. - June 16, 2016 - PRLog -- Adam Barnes, a 21 years old engineer with Cheshire-based document management company the Sharples Group couldn't believe his eyes when he arrived at the firm's Warrington HQ to collect his newly achieved training certificate.

For  Warrington North MP Helen Jones was waiting to make the presentation personally to a young man whose commitment to on-going training has seen him rise through the ranks from being an assistant van driver to a document management engineer.

"Adam has been with us for three years now and has worked hard on a number of in-house training programmes to hone his skills," said Sharples Managing Director Mark Brocklehurst. "He has made good progress and is now a valuable member of our very able team.

"Adam was due to collect his certificate on the day that we were visited by our Member of Parliament, so we asked her whether she would present the document to Adam. She said she would be delighted to do so.

"Adam was very surprised but happy with his success. He recently underwent an on-line colour perception theory test and passed with flying colours. This now enables Adam to progress to the next stage of Mono and Colour training courses with the various manufactures we deal with who include Toshiba, Oki, Lexmark and Kyocera."

When he is not working Adam can often be seen taking part in Sharples fund-raising events for local charities including a Triathlon in Bolton, canoeing, cycling, swimming, running and hiking in a variety of locations.

Asked about his career with Sharples, Adam said: "Sharples has provided me with many opportunities in my career with the added bonus of being able to enjoy a healthier lifestyle."
