OKLAHOMA CITY - June 11, 2016 - PRLog -- The Bible states that "it is impossible for God to lie", meaning that he does not renege on his own covenants/promises. He was obligated to honor man's choice to allow evil, a temporary reign on the earth. You may hear some people who witness a tragedy of any kind, ask the question of "why didn't God stop it?" The answer specifically is not easy to discern in many cases however, the basic answer to the question is the fact that God allows evils and tragedies because mankind first allowed them entrance into the earth (Genesis 3:17). When insurance companies are covering damages from earthquakes, tornadoes, tsunamis or another natural disaster, they should not categorize them as "acts of God" (even with the chance that they possibly could be) but more properly as "acts of nature" that occur in a fallen, broken, out-of-whack world. There are, have been and will be instances of God's wrath being executed in the world (i.e. Noah's day flood, Sodom and Gomorrah and the future "Great Tribulation").
