Deciding that his energy was best spent as a coach and mentor, Michael has always made it a priority to make his ceiling into his team's floor; that is, to build a team more talented than himself by giving them all of his knowledge as their foundation. This agenda has resulted in several NAHA nominations and Contessa Awards.
