KINGSTON, Mass. - June 6, 2016 - PRLog -- Sacred Heart School (www.sacredheartkingston.com), a private, Catholic, co-educational school for students in preschool through grade 12, is proud to announce that a short film submitted by high school sophomore Olivia Colombo of Kingston, Massachusetts has been named the winner of Cardinal Seán O'Malley's Witness to Life Video Challenge.

According to The Archdiocese, Colombo's submission was selected for demonstrating "a strong spirit of evangelization through her ability to Witness to Life among her peers."

The roughly three minute video illustrates and affirms the kinship between the Sacred Heart School community and local elderly facilities.  Powerful in both narrative and visual elements, the video also pays homage to the school's "March for Life" assembly and explores the various ways Sacred Heart students wage devotion and respect to society, at large.

On June 2nd, Colombo, her parents, Sacred Heart Principal Dr. Michael Gill and students who assisted in the video creation had the opportunity to meet with Cardinal O'Malley in a brief private session.

"The entire school is so proud of Olivia for this remarkable accomplishment," said Pamela Desmarais, President of Sacred Heart School. "Her thoughtful approach to the subject matter and collaboration with fellow students to produce the video has resulted in a truly amazing honor."
