Your Case - Interchangeable Phone Case Designs | Kickstarter

SAN DIEGO - May 20, 2016 - PRLog -- "Your Case" is a phone case that allows you to interchange phone case designs. These unprecedented phone cases feature two phone case parts - an inner phone case for drop damage protection and an outer phone case for style. This patent-pending design allows people to have the option many 'outer' case backs, therefore allowing people many styles or designs to choose from for any given day. Case backs slide on and off the inner case very fast and easily, making it convenient to change up phone case designs. This innovative design is the creation of a student from the Zahn Innovation Platform Launchpad, located at San Diego State University. "I am in two fraternities and a variety of other organizations on campus, for me to have the ability to change phone case designs throughout the day depending on what organization I'm with is indispensable for networking" says Founder and CEO, Garrett Wilson.  One day after not being able to design two custom phone cases online, Garrett realized the need for a phone case with interchangeable designs. This led to the creation of the first ever interchangeable phone case. After several rounds of prototyping, he created sleek and functional prototypes using 3D printing in the Zahn Innovation Center. It's a project they're very passionate and excited about. However, the budget of a college student prevents them from taking their phone case designs to full production. Therefore, Garrett and his team have taken their idea to Kickstarter.com in an attempt to raise $8,000 in 45 days.

While Your Case allows you to interchange phone case designs, custom skins are not the only thing you can have as a case back. We also offer wallet case backs and bottle opener case backs, which slide on and off inner cases. Wallet case backs allow you to hold cash and up to 4 credit cards, while bottle opener case backs allow you to effortlessly open any bottle without damaging your phone. Both of these additional case backs have been prototyped to be aesthetically appealing by being sleek and elegant. Our phone case design allows us to only be limited by our imagination, while state of the art engineering allows our phone cases to be fully protected from drop damage. Never worry about dropping and breaking your phone again, while easily changing case designs.

Kickstarter campaigns operate under an "all-or-nothing" funding model so if the Your Case project doesn't reach it's goal at the end of 45 days, then it might be years before you'll see them on the market. Garrett Wilson is currently studying Marketing and Computer Science at San Diego State University. He founded a Social Fraternity called Kappa Alpha Order his freshman year, and pledged a Co-ed Professional Business Fraternity: Alpha Kappa Psi his sophomore year.
