New vet scale designed to keep pets at a healthy weight easily

ROTHERHAM, U.K. - May 19, 2016 - PRLog -- UK weighing scales manufacturer Marsden has launched a portable weighing scale to help make keeping pets in shape easier.

A recent study by petfood manufacturer Purina found that if a dog is at its ideal body condition it will live up to 1.8 years longer than its overweight litter mates. Regularly ensuring your pet maintains a suitable weight for its age is a key indicator of its health.

The V-23 Portable Pet Scale has been designed for home use, to satisfy pet owners, breeders and animals alike. It's lightweight with an integral carry handle, and has a wipe-clean surface.

A previous weight reading function shows whether a pet has lost or gained weight since it was last weighed.

The V-23 can weigh pets up to 25kg, to an accuracy of 10g.
