By: Kōsa Press -Piers Anthony, New York Times Bestelling Author of the Xanth book series On post-apocalyptic Earth, New Zealand and Australia are the last habitable land masses. Humans and aliens cling to these countries, struggling for supremacy in the aftermath of a war that ravaged the globe. Four stories that explore transformation, survival, love, and the eternal search for meaning in a turbulent world. Can humans and aliens bridge the gap created by their prejudices? Or will one species forever rule the other? From Kōsa Press comes a science fiction shared-universe anthology, Interspecies: Interspecies is the achievement of an international collaboration of writers and artists, some whom have never met in person, building a universe from the ground up. Samuel Peralta, with 14 consecutive titles ranking at the top of the Amazon Bestselling Anthology lists, was a fitting choice to pen the Foreword for Interspecies. His popular sci-fi anthology series, The Future Chronicles, inspired the team to collaborate in their own unique way. The collection of authors, M.J. Kelley, Woelf Dietrich, Elaine Chao, and Dana Leipold, came together in an online writer's workshop, Write Draft Critique, with a diverse background in writing and publishing. "This is the realization of more than a year's worth of hard work and virtual collaboration between me and my team," says M.J. Kelley, Publisher and Founder of Kōsa Press. "Our goal was to create a universe with distinct stories that intersect and build on one another, moving the narrative toward a larger story arc." Kelley added that this level of collaboration presented a few challenges and there were bumps along the way but it all came down to working toward a shared vision. "It's not easy to do, even when you're collaborating with a team in person. But once we all bought in on the vision, it clicked. And we did it all online," Kelley adds. Kelley and his team plan to release at least two more anthologies that continue the stories with the characters introduced in Interspecies. -ENDS- Contact: M.J.
