Dr. Abhay Kumar Pati and Employees of Biotechayur:

It is an honor to introduce the man who is responsible for this grand occasion, the Inauguration Ceremony and Celebration of Biotechayur Pvt. Ltd.    He is the reason why several of us traveled half way around the world and why many of you drove several hours to be present at this celebration.
I have known Dr. Abhay Kumar Pati, for over 30 years.   At the time (in the mid 1980's), he was in the U.S. for less than 3 years, and yet was the publisher of a quarterly non-profit magazine called, The International Journal of Holistic Health.    Over the years, I have watched him work tirelessly (6-7 days a week) as he focused on his goals.  He started other magazines as well, including Health World and Asia-Pacific Travel Magazine.
However, once he focused on his vitamin and herbal supplement business, his days as a magazine publisher ended.   Alternative health was becoming more and more popular, as people searched for healthier lifestyle changes.   Business was booming in the alternative health field and the internet was exploding with business opportunities.   Online orders for his vitamins and supplements were increasing and this was only the beginning for Dr. Pati.

Although Dr. Pati had success in the U.S. with his vitamin and herbal company, known as Best Nutrition Products, Inc. (located in  Northern California), he never forgot his hometown, where he was born and educated.
He was born in Basantapur, in the Balasore District of Orissa State.    He is the grandson of the late Pandit Kaviraj Jadunath Satapathy, who had inspired him to study ayurvedic medicine.

Dr.Pati received his degree in integrated medicine, both in Ayurvedic Medicine and Allopathic Medicine from the J.B. Roy State Ayurvedic Medical College (Asthanga Ayurvedic College, Kolkata University, West Bengal, India), one of the oldest and prestigious Ayurvedic Institutions in India.

He is the founder and CEO of Biotechayur, Balasore, Orissa, and the founder and CEO of Best Nutrition Products, Inc. in California.  Dr. Pati has traveled extensively all over the world, and conducts his businesses in various countries.

As an Oriya Enterpreneur, Dr. Pati's focus is on the modernization of Ayurvedic and Herbal Industry to use Indian Herbs and Medicinal Plants and related Life Sciences based Technologies, Products and Services in support of Green Biotech Industry developments in Orissa and India.
