| Dog Groomers Calm Canines Naturally With Pet RemedyWith approximately 47% of all households owning a dog in the United States, the demand for grooming services has increased. Unfortunately dogs often become anxious during the grooming process, which poses challenges for the groomer.
By: Whitegate PR INC Groomers have a responsibility for the care and welfare of the dogs they are tending to; however some dogs are fearful of being groomed which make this task much more difficult. There are a number of contributing factors to this, many of which are out of the groomer's control. One reason may be because dogs typically like to feel in charge of their surroundings. Having a groomer probe and examine them with a variety of tools can instinctively bring on anxious feelings. Pet Remedy is a natural product that relaxes without sedating and has no contraindications with medication or health issues. It's an easy product for busy groomers to use and most importantly benefits the dogs in their care. Launched in 2009, Pet Remedy's unique product line is available as calming sprays or a plug-in diffuser and has had tremendous success in naturally tackling stress and anxiety in animals, receiving various awards and recognition throughout the years. The sprays and diffuser are made from the best quality blend of herbal essences, valerian, sweet basil, sage and vetiver. A 2015 study carried out by Select Statistics in Exeter, consisted of a survey of professional dog groomers regarding their experiences with using Pet Remedy on dogs in their salons. This survey, which assessed 242 dogs in all, found just how effective Pet Remedy was in improving behavior in the grooming salon. Of the 70 groomers who trialed Pet Remedy in their salons and provided questionnaires, 96% said they would recommend Pet Remedy. They reported an improvement in several common problems. For instance, 61% of dogs who disliked having their paws touched for nail clippings were relaxed for this aspect of the groom with Pet Remedy. With regards to noise phobias to clippers or scissors, 59% of dogs showed improvement. Overall, 80% of dogs were reported to have significantly or moderately improved their behavior when Pet Remedy was sprayed on the grooming table and a plug-in diffuser was used. "Essences have been used for thousands of years to assist with calming," states Carina Evans, CEO of Pet Remedy, "The special Pet Remedy blend of essences work as a natural relaxation and have been clinically proven to help calm pets in times of stress. Groomers are faced with anxious dogs on a daily basis. It's satisfying to know our product is helping to make a dog groomer's job easier, as well as create a more soothing environment and experience for the animal as well." Comments from Dog Groomers about Pet Remedy: "We have kept the plug in going and noticed a general calmer demeanor with slightly nervous dogs coming into the salon and settling down a lot quicker. Very happy to recommend!" "Pet Remedy has made a huge difference in our efforts to get Archie to accept us working around his face. Today was the first time we completed all the scissoring around his face and between his eyes!" "I sold this client the travel spray bottle to try out prior to us knowing that grooming was a trigger. They contacted me 2 days later wanting to purchase the larger bottle as they had such good success with Finlay's separation anxiety."
