OWIT-Phoenix announces international luncheon and networking event: "Doing Business in Africa"

PHOENIX - May 7, 2016 - PRLog -- The Organization for Women in International Trade-Phoenix Chapter, is pleased to announce international luncheon and networking event: "Doing Business in Africa: Why U.S. Businesses Should Not Overlook this Land of Opportunity", and welcome panel guest speakers, Maria Elena Rivero, Senior International Trade Specialist, International Trade Administration (ITA) of the U.S. Department of Commerce, Sheila Kariuki, Chief Executive, Resource Associates Limited, a Kenyan-owned Human Resource Consultancy firm and Lee Clegg, President of the Africa Business Portal. Luncheon event will be held on Thursday, May 19^th, at the Maricopa Association of Governments Building, 302 North First Avenue, 2^nd Floor Phoenix, AZ 85003, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Cost for this event, is $25 for OWIT-Phoenix members, $35 non-members, $10 students.

The Organization for Women in International Trade, established in 1989, is a non-profit organization, with 25 chapters and over 3000 members worldwide, whose mission is to foster and support international trade and the advancement of women and men in business by providing an educational forum, expert advice and networking opportunities.
