Follow on Google News | Kent State University's College of Business Administration to Host Another CollegeWeekLive WebcastBy: College of Business Administration The webcast will allow potential international graduate students speak with College of Business Administration MBA faculty to learn about various topics including faculty background and interests, details of the graduate programs, expectations of students, how to get the most out of classes and how to prepare for the program. "The College of Business Administration would like potential students to hear from our greatest resource-our renowned faculty," said Louise Ditchey, director of Graduate Programs. "They come from all over the world with expertise and experience in many disciplines and are recognized researchers and award-winning teachers." The faculty participating in the webcast includes Lindsay Baran, Ph.D., assistant professor of finance, Pratim Datta, Ph.D., associate professor of management and information systems and Ph.D. director and Indrarini Laksmana, Ph.D., associate professor in accounting. CollegeWeekLive events are free and held several times a year. These online events are designed to connect prospective students with colleges and universities in a live, interactive environment. Kent State's College of Business Administration Graduate Programs Office offers many tools to assist international students in their college search, including live streaming video presentations from admissions experts, guidance counselors and current college students with real time Q&A sessions; electronic brochures and course catalogs; campus images and videos and real-time IM and video chat between students and school representatives. On June 30th future Kent State's webcast will feature representatives from the University's Office of Global Education. All webcasts will take place from 9-10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time and registration is free and open.
