New RFID Towel Locker System Set to Eliminate Towel Theft in Hotels and Gyms

NORTHBROOK, Ill. - April 22, 2016 - PRLog -- Hotels, gyms and spas plagued by the effects of towel theft now have a dynamic tool to combat the activity following the launch of a new RFID Cabinet/ Locker for Towels by Fresh USA.

Towel theft has always been a problem for the hospitality and fitness/recreation industries.  In light of this, several systems have been developed to tackle this problem. Nevertheless, towels still ranks as one of the top items stolen from hotels and gyms.

Fresh USA's RFID Cabinets is the only system that prevents towel theft, while tracking towel turnover. The RFID Cabinet/locker for towels works in conjunction with invisible RFID tags that are embedded in the towels. Access can only be gained by RFID cards, wristband or chips.

The locker is installed out of the sight in close proximity to the front desk. Therefore, if a guest is checking out with a towel in his bag, the information is relayed to the computer and pops up as a message to notify receptionist.  The receptionist then has the opportunity to politely inform the guest that he has forgotten to return the towel.

The RFID Cabinet/locker for towels locker features two separate compartments for clean and soiled items. Audiovisual notices are activated if clean towels compartment is almost empty and if return compartment is full. What's more is that the cabinet is built with a germicidal lamp that keeps the towels clean and fresh.
