Russian startup may disrupt the work of NSA

SAMARA, Russian Federation - April 21, 2016 - PRLog -- The events that had happened with the help of Edward Snowden - the ex-NSA contractor, whose activity revealed the detailed secret NSA programs for the billions of Internet users, the significance of personal data security is growing day by the day.
Recently a team of Russian developers has announced the launch of SmartFlash. According to the developers, the device provides information exchange in the absolutely anonymous and secure way.
The developers assure the personal data of SmartFlash customer can be tracked neither by any violator of the device owner's rights nor by the company members themselves.
What if the invention gets turned into a tool of data transference for offenders?
"We don't pursue the goal to disrupt the work of any federal agency. What we work at is making the personal information completely secure," - announced Alexsey Churkin, the project founder.
Judging by the technical data, the principle of SmartFlash functioning is quite simple: the user's data gets encrypted using a 2048-bit key. The same algorithm is applied for bank transactions but the difference is that the whole process takes place on the user's PC. So it turns out impossible to steal the data from the servers as far as even the device's creators don't have an access to the files.
Some people may be worried if this way of data storage may be implemented by criminals, including ISIS. But the company guarantees that the personal identity cannot be tracked by anyone.

SmartFlash company was established in 2015 and was widely covered by the Russian media. Initially the company was developing cloud technologies, subsequently just focused on development of SmartFlash - a portable data storage device with no limit of information volume that aims at protecting the user's data thoroughly. At the moment the startup is being crowdfunded on IndieGoGo.com (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/flashsafe-4g-world-s-f...). In the sequel the team is planning to extend the functionality adding an opportunity of authorization on popular web sites, SmartTV connection and some others.
