Alberto Statti and The Division

YORK, U.K. - April 15, 2016 - PRLog -- The Division features a near-future setting not to mention Destiny-like leveling and ideally, the looting sounds come as a recipe for gaming perfection. If you've played the E3 demo, you would agree that you have to approach the beta version with fair trepidation.

The beta gives a free-rein exploration right from the beginning and you can see that it gives a glimpse of its character customization feature. As such, it features options that cover hair and facial customization as well as face type, which appears in full-blown cutscene.

You find yourself awaking from unconsciousness in a chopper and on your right is a bandaged fellow soldier, who apparently is your comrade Elaine Lau. You can see from a distance, a burning tower block that tells you that you've been in some form of battle. The dialogue brings more suggestions to the context. That is when you realize you landed at the Hudson Pier in the middle of a disheveled and battle-torn New York.

You get going and wander through an army forward base where you pick situation reports and look at the notice board for missions. Definitely, an opportunity to restock your ammo and buy new weapons. The game features three weapons namely a primary, secondary and sidearm. Once you familiarize yourself with the controls, you get to know that the primaries and secondary can be interchanged, which means you can carry different combinations of assault rifle, shotgun, submachine gun, sniper rifle and light machine gun. As earlier noted, the visual and audio effects of this equipment are outstanding.

Given that The Division is themed from a real-life US government scenario tested on the impact of smallpox outbreak in Atlanta, the entire country is collapsing and you would say the meltdown is five days out. No food, water or electricity and people are fighting for survival. As a sleeper agent of this agency, The Division, you are required to get a new base of operations and run it by completing missions. The missions are typically taking over what rogue cliques have now owned in parts as they reign.

The game features 30 upgrades, which take some time considering the intensity, complexity and entertainment the preliminary stages bring to its versatile audience out there. In higher upgrades, you expect to see conspiracies going much deeper and the game becoming more realistic with details. As always, you need to form a squad of four players or less to share the burden. Generally, the main areas of the game dictate the city rogues against you. The game also features other roaming locations such as Apple's tourist hotspots, Manhattan, Staten Island, Brooklyn and Newark.
