By: PDF Association Almost every document - whether scanned from paper or created from a digital source - will eventually be converted into a PDF format. Whether used for file exchange, for archiving or as a basis for digital invoicing, PDF is the ISO standard for documents - and it is therefore of interest to all businesses. The first day of the PDF Days Europe will be the Educational Day, where attendees will be able to choose from a number of presentations including "Upcoming standard PDF/Raster", "Disrupting the world of document creation and distribution" The second day is named Solution Day. Here, across a series of parallel sessions, users and developers will present best-practice solutions under titles such as "PDF and OpenType technology", "Beyond the written word", "Digital signatures", "RGB workflow with PDF/X-4", "Compare documents", and "The ConnectedPDF ecosystem". In parallel with the Pre-Conference on Monday, June 13 2016, Foxit and LuraTech will present an English-language workshop highlighting the Foxit Group's PDF solutions. Attendees will learn more about mobile solutions, server solutions, and Connected PDF. "In all, attendees will be able to choose from just under 50 German- and English-language presentations, workshops and user reports in order to assemble their own personalized package of PDF knowledge", said Thomas Zellmann, Managing Director of the PDF Association.
