The Classroom Activity Center is intended to support curriculum instruction as a technology tool by enhancing instruction, assessment, and independence. With a variety of accessibility options to support both cognitive and physical disabilities, the Classroom Activity Center enables students to complete activities independently or with support from the teacher. For example, using a switch interface and a switch, the features found in the Classroom Activity Center provide students the opportunity to match, sort, count, order numbers, add, compose and decompose numbers, match and extend patterns, identify vocabulary and initial letters, rhyme, choose details for a main idea, and many more. Once an activity is completed by the student, a teacher, administrator, or parent can review data collected from the completion of the activity. In addition, students can write their own sentences by completing them, given a set of choices.
