By: Elliott Broidy From a military family, Elliott Broidy has shown a life-long respect and dedication to these men and women who bravely support our country. Two of the nonprofits that Elliott Broidy has continuously worked with are Hounds for Heroes and Wounded Warrior Project. Hounds for Heroes Elliott Broidy helped Hounds for Heroes begin local efforts in providing service animals with wounded veterans across Southern California. Hounds for Heroes lifts the spirits and morale of our active, wounded and veteran military troops worldwide and increases community awareness, education and involvement on the cruelty to animals and necessary care for animals through rescue, foster and adoption. Wounded Warrior Project The Wounded Warrior Project is a nonprofit that assists veterans with a variety of services. The organization has created several programs that give injured vets specialized care, but the ability for programs to be thorough and successful depends greatly on private donations. Elliott Broidy graduated with an MBA from the USC Marshall School Business. He went on to start Broidy Capital Management in 1991. Broidy was appointed by Secretary Michael Chertoff to serve on the United States Homeland Security Advisory Council and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Police Foundation. Broidy was also appointed by the President to serve on the Board of Trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington. End
