10 Day Summer Dance Intensive for Intermediate and Advanced Danncers

OBERLIN, Ohio - March 28, 2016 - PRLog -- Ohio Dance Theatre's official school, The Dancers' Studio at Oberlin, is accepting applicants for its Summer Intensive 2016 program to be held in the School's studios located at 39 S. Main Street, Oberlin, OH. The program runs Wednesday, July 6 through Sunday, July 16 from 9:00 am-4:00 pm is open to Intermediate and Advanced level dancers ages 13-19. The school's Summer Intensive is designed to enhance the technical, artistic and performance skills of dancers by offering a variety of dance techniques along with a final performance opportunity. The Summer Intensive 2016 programs provides high quality, pre-professional dance training featuring classes in Jazz, Modern/composition, Hip Hop, Injury Prevention as well as Ballet, Pointe and Variations.Classes will be instructed by Faculty of The Dancers' Studio at Oberlin and ten Guest Artists including Andrea Blankstein-Otloski, former member Cleveland-San Jose Ballet; Tom Evert, Director of Dancevert and Sarah Hairston, Principal Dancer Cincinnati Ballet among others. All participants will also work directly with Ohio Dance Theatre's Artistic Director, Denise Gula in daily rehearsals for an end of program performance.
