Moss & Associates names Scott Gerard VP of Safety

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - March 22, 2016 - PRLog -- Moss & Associates has promoted Scott Gerard to Vice President of Environmental, Health & Safety. Gerard, who was previously the Safety Director, has been with the Moss Family for six years.

In his new capacity, Gerard will oversee all environmental, health, safety and security procedures for projects in the United States, the Caribbean and the Bahamas. He will be responsible for the implementation of all OSHA, EPA, DOT guidelines to minimize risk for staffs on site through streamline communication.

In his previous capacity as Safety Director, Gerard was responsible for ensuring compliance of all safety and security procedures on projects, nationwide, through project planning and inspection, training, policy development, and program writing.

Gerard studied Fire/Safety Engineering at the University of Cincinnati, where he obtained the status of Master Firefighter.  He holds Professional Safety Certificates in General Industry (PCG), Construction (PCC) & Maritime (PCM) from the University of South Florida. He is an OSHA Outreach Trainer in all three areas. Scott is also a First Aid/CPR/AED instructor. With more than 26 years of experience in safety, Gerard's experience also includes developing safety programs, workers compensation, environmental health safety and program management.
