TiEcon 2016 Brings Entrepreneurial Inspiration to the World

SAN JOSE, Calif. - March 22, 2016 - PRLog -- TiE SiliconValley, a not for profit organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship in the Bay Area and globally, has announced its upcoming TiEcon 2016 conference, scheduled for May 6 - 7, 2016, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, CA.  Now in its 23^rd year, TiEcon brings together innovators, venture capitalists and technology firms from around the world to help advance the cause of entrepreneurs.

Featuring more than 200 speakers and 100 exhibitors, TiEcon 2016 is expecting to draw in more than 4,600 registrants at the two-day event.  Attendees will have the opportunity to immerse themselves into the latest in technology across the hottest industry segments and hear from several successful entrepreneurs and leaders, including Shantanu Narayen, President and CEO of Adobe Systems; Diane Greene, Sr. VP of Google's Cloud Business, Google Board Member and co-founder and former CEO of VMware; and Sanjay Mehrotra, co-founder and CEO of SanDisk.

TiEcon 2016 will offer multiple tracks on cutting edge technology topics, including Future of Cloud and IT, IOT, Data Economy, Trending Technologies and Entrepreneurship. Additionally, the conference will explore topics relevant to a start-up, like talent acquisition and retention, funding options, and differentiating the company and products in a competitive environment. This year, TiE50, the coveted awards program for startups will screen more than 2300 applications from 17 countries. The top 100 start-ups selected will attend TiEcon 2016 and present before an audience. The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp,an invite-only one-day session will take 100 budding international entrepreneurs through a rigorous readiness program including making mock presentations to get ready for making pitches to investors and venture capitalists. Winners of both TiE50, and TYE (TiE Young Entrepreneurs) programs will be announced at TiEcon 2016.
