Drilling mud centrifuge also refers to drilling fluid decanter centrifuge, well drilling decanting centrifuge, etc. It is usually used after desilter separator or mud cleaner. Since the particles to be processed is 2~7 microns.

Centrifuges can be designed as middle speed and high speed one usually there are 1900~4000rpm. For drilling mud process, we mostly use 2800~3200rpm. For high speed ones we can configure it as variable frequency for better performance

Feeding pump can be screw pump or submersible slurry pump. Nowadays, more and more users prefer the screw pump. The feeding pump function is pump drilling mud discharged from desilter or mud cleaner to centrifuge. For better performance and reliable quality, we suggest screw pump as feeding pump

Screw pump, famous brand is NETZSCH. The material is S.S304~316L. Depends on clients' preference and the price will differ as well.

How to select feeding pump for centrifuges

Please consider centrifuge capacity and choose proper centrifuge with ideal flow rate as well. For example, if the centrifuge capacity is 40m³/h we kindly suggest select pump with 30~40m³/h.

Then, please consider treating object. If the material is corrosive. Is the mud oil-based or water-based. Is the material is too abrasive? And thirdly is cost. If user are able to pay higher cost for better quality we suggest S.S316L one as we are not sure if we use pump always in non-corrosive condition. S.S316L must be longer service life, duralbe and reliable enough
