This product is ideal for raster applications and is excellent for cross-axis repeatability. The flexure pivot design offers reduced on-axis jitter.  The HS-15 has no lubricant - which is useful in vacuum applications, and has an extended life in small angle applications.

Nutfield Technology's HS-15 Galvanometer incorporates a uniquely designed cross flexure pivot to deliver extreme smoothness and repeatability. The flexure pivot eliminates machine-driven noise. The HS-15 Galvanometer is the choice for faster applications, offering consistent line placement that is key to quality. This galvanometer has the ability to be used in small angle applications, where ball bearings experience excessive wear and reduced life. As a flexure-based, moving-magnet galvanometer with capacitive position sensing, this product is top of the line. The HS-15 uses galvanometer mirrors with 7mm, 10mm and 15mm apertures. Scan rates of 900Hz at small angles (1 degree), 500Hz at medium angles (10 degrees) or 100Hz at large angles (30 degrees) are achievable.
