"Women Self Defense" an Event organized by The Pehnava

Faridabad, India - The Pehnava, a Faridabad based eCommerce Company organized a self-defense awareness program for Women in association with Rotary Club of Sanskar  Kick Boxing Association Club . Keeping in mind the sexual assault rates and increasing rapes, Thepehnava took a step  to aware the women about self-defense so that they can keep themselves in any circumstances.  The motive of the event is to spread awareness among women about self-defense. A lot of people and organizations are contributing their efforts and money in women safety but we, at The Pehnava think that more people need to come forward and make women feel safe.

Chennai is one of the best examples from where lessons can be learnt. Chennai has dropped crime rates against women from 59.8% to 19.46% in  the past 8 Years. Government is working on all these cases but we individually need to take a step forward if we want to become a city like Chennai. The actions taken by us will give women respect and ease of moving alone in society.

The Pehnava is an ecommerce website which deals in women's clothing & accessories. Its vision is not only to sell products but also to educate women about their rights and safety. The Pehnava tied up with the self defense academy and will come up with many more events in future.
