And…cut! GARDEN PARTY MASSACRE leaves the editing room and heads for remaining post-production!

Feb. 29, 2016 - PRLog -- eThe independent feature GARDEN PARTY MASSACRE—a hilarious brew of murder, mirth and mayhem—has finished the edited process and is moving into sound design, score, fx and colorization.  The story tells of a friendly gathering that goes hilariously awry when an unexpected guest arrives.  With a pickaxe.  And an attitude.  Suffice it to say:  the editing process was not the first time things got sliced up.

“I wanted to do something totally different from DEADLY REVISIONS”, Blair has said.  “That film is a brooding, moody, slow-burn mystery and I wanted to do something kinetic, wild and crazy.”  To that end, GARDEN PARTY MASSACRE is a fast-paced, wacky romp in the vein of Shaun of the Dead and Tucker and Dale vs. Evil.  “I knew the editing would have to help keep that manic pace and still leave time for the comic beats to land.  Not an easy task, but editor Brett Noborikawa worked tirelessly with me and I think we’ve succeeded.”

Comedy is the name of the game in every aspect of the film’s progress and promotion:  their fan fundraising campaign video (found at http://www.GardenPartyMassacreFilm.com) is a “meta” comedy, spoofing campaigns even as it pitches its own and the Playbuzz game “Which GARDEN PARTY MASSACRE Character Are You?” is a fun quiz that just might tell you if you’re a pyscho killer.
