Bacci Chocolate Design Rebrands as CB Stuffer

Massachusetts chocolate manufacturer launched a rebrand campaign including a name change, a new website, an eCommerce division and additional space to support its popular CB Stuffer product line.
LYNN, Mass. - Feb. 26, 2016 - PRLog -- Chocolate manufacturer Bacci Chocolate design has rebranded to CB Stuffer with an aggressive campaign to support the continued growth of its CB Stuffer products. The new website cbstuffer.com launched earlier this month just as one of the company’s popular products, the CB Stuffer Pizza, was offered as part of the television show The View's online sales blast: View Your Deal.

The company launched in 2006 to support its retail division The Chocolate Truffle, then launched the wholesale division in 2007. This past August, the company sold The Chocolate Truffle to Memory Lane Sweets in an effort to move out of the brick and mortar space and focus on the CB Stuffer Brand through wholesale and eCommerce. “Rebranding and moving out of brick and mortar was a company focus for a long time,” stated CEO Erin Calvo-Bacci. “At one time we thought about rebranding the retail stores, but the stores were completely different with many retail sales channels, and we knew dividing and then eventually selling was the best course of action.” The Chocolate Truffle had grown to three stores, but increased labor costs were weighing on the company. “The Chocolate Truffle is a specialty confectionary store carrying a large number of SKUs and offers personalization and customization. Managing the store and the inventory meant CB Stuffer products had to take a back seat, but those products were growing in popularity and earned shelf space in some of the most prestigious specialty stores nationally. They deserved their own spotlight which is why we decided to rebrand and sell The Chocolate Truffle; now we can continue to focus on the CB Stuffer Brand and develop more products.” Calvo-Bacci’s husband and partner Carlo Bacci is the company's COO, overseeing products and manufacturing. “I’ve been amazed with the number of phone calls and social media messages I receive daily from people complimenting our products and wanting to know where they can purchase more. We encourage them to go to our resellers, but often those clients carry a small selection. Since we’ve launched the new site, people have purchased more flavors which otherwise were only available at the retail store. Our CB Stuffer products travel great distances and we’re proud of that.”

The company added 2000 square feet of space at their warehouse to accommodate the eCommerce and expanded their office space to make room for new hires and a showroom. CB Stuffer plans to introduce new peanut butter cup flavors when it exhibits at industry tradeshows this year.
