Vaccaro with Mon Group Appointed to the SBACNJ Board of Directors

SHREWSBURY, N.J. - Feb. 16, 2016 - PRLog -- Wanessa Vaccaro, CFO/COO of D.R. Mon Group, Mon Group Properties and its family of independent companies has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey (SBACNJ).

“We encourage everyone on the Mon Group team to be actively involved in the building trade associations,” states Dean Mon, CEO and founder of Mon Group. “Wanessa’s strong leadership abilities, as well as her in-depth knowledge of the construction industry will be an asset to SBACNJ.” Vaccaro adds “I am honored to be appointed to the Board of Directors of SBACNJ and have the opportunity to help protect the interests of builders throughout the Shore region.”

A resident of West Allenhurst, NJ, Vaccaro joined D.R. Mon Group, Inc. in 2010 as its Accounting Manager. She quickly proved her value to the organization by becoming an integral member of Mon Group’s management team. As CFO/COO, she oversees human resources, strategic planning, land acquisition, marketing, sales and operations. Vaccaro has an in-depth knowledge of the affordable and workforce housing markets, as well as construction financial management. Under her direction, Mon Group has experienced continuous growth despite the economic challenges faced by the construction industry.

Vaccaro graduated from Monmouth University magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Her area of concentration was Finance and she minored in Spanish. Vaccaro is a licensed real estate salesperson and was included in NJBIZ’s Forty Under 40 Class of 2014.
