Marshall Barnes Slams Daily Beast Article For Sensationalist Time Travel Headline

The Daily Beast article on the discovery of gravitational waves, titled "Hold Up, Did We Just Crack Time Travel?" has world time travel expert, Marshall Barnes, R&D Eng, "hacked-off" at the stupidity author Michael Howard promulgates.

YELLOW SPRINGS, Ohio - March 6, 2016 - PRLog -- Michael Howard, writing for The Daily Beast claims in his article, Hold Up, Did We Just Crack Time Travel?, that the discovery of gravitational waves "might, down the line, bring us closer to moving through time." When internationally noted R&D engineer Marshall Barnes read it, he went ballistic.

"That is 100% BULL-," he declared, adding, "the gravitational waves discovery has nothing at all to do with time travel, all you have to do is realize that in order for the waves to have been detected it took two large black holes to collide, black holes, I might add that are too far away to reach, without a warp drive. But here's the deal - if you have a warp drive then you already have the technology to build a time machine, so you don't need the black hole. Anyone that doesn't automatically realize that, doesn't have the brains to even handle this topic, let alone should be allowed to speak on it."

Marshall was emphatic.

"Look, he's got Kip Thorne, of LIGO and Cal Tech, and  David Spergel of Princeton and they are all cautioning him about drawing comparisons to time travel but he just won't quit. And here's the deal - he's never tried to talk to me about time travel and I know more about it than those three physicists put together. I even have the most authoritative book on the subject (see http://www.blurb.com/b/5622324-paradox-lost-the-public-ed... ) let alone an actual device that's opening micro wormholes, but he'd rather take a weak story and hype it up with exaggerated claims about it opening the way for time travel. It's just plain stupid. No, it's worse than that. It's asinine."

Marshall's disdain is increased by Howard's comments like, "Whenever time travel does get proven or disproven, the discovery will have the LIGO researchers’ proof of Einstein’s 100-year-old prediction to thank for its path to logic."

"Total rubbish, bullocks and garbage," Marshall angrily comments. "It's not just that anyone, even morons like MIT's Ed Farhi, knows there's a connection between time travel possibilities and extreme gravity from General Relativity, but General Relativity is not the best way to do it. I even proved it at the 100 Year Starship Symposium in 2013. Only losers are content with solutions derived from General Relativity, because they'll never be realized. Look at Ronald Mallett, for an example. Total loser. Not only did I beat him in the race to build a time machine working on a particle basis, he's given up trying to make his stupid idea work exactly because it was based on General Relativity. Now you have this idiot, Michael Howard, getting all excited, like he's just been french kissed for the first time. Totally pathetic".

Marshall is not only the creator of the first machine in the world, the Verdrehung Fan™, exhibiting the potential for full blown time travel, but will be the subject of several documentaries about it. He's also the author of the most authoritative book on time travel, Paradox Lost: The True Geometries of Time Travel, based on his special report to select members of Congress on the implications of time travel which are not what the media and popular science often claim they will be, and he scientifically proves it. He has a passion for getting the issue of time travel right, and has been recognized as one of the top read writers on the subject by Quora.com. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XArmg47LHbU

"You know, you work hard, get recognized for your work, but then some moron like Michael Howard comes along and just muddies the waters again."
