WHAT: After almost 20 years, Cotton finally opens up in a fascinating documentary, titled Manchild ‘The Schea Cotton Story’, about his life devoted to the game of basketball that will leave you in awe.  Basketball followers around the country have sought answers to why Cotton did not make it to the NBA, and now he opens up to give answers at a private documentary screening, followed by a Q & A.  This private screening is only by invitation and will consist of athletic influencers, documentary cast, production crew, and media.

WHY: Schea Cotton wishes to use the story of his life as a catalyst to inform and inspire the youth. The documentary will chronicle his from adolescence to the present. The documentary will highlight the ups and downs of his basketball journey and how he adjusted to life after stardom.

About Schea Cotton

Schea Cotton, born May 20, 1978 in Los Angeles, California, is currently the CEO of the Schea Cotton Basketball Academy (SCBA) and spends a lot of his time sharing his story in hopes to inspire the youth.  He spent most of his younger years in the Los Angeles Harbor area of San Pedro, California as an athletic young boy with big dreams.  Cotton made a name for himself in the basketball world beginning in the 6^th grade. Some notable accolades are: 1995 CIF State Player of the Year, 1995 John Wooden High School Player of the Year, Parade All-American, McDonald’s All-American, JUCO All-American and All SEC at the University of Alabama.
