About Schea Cotton Schea Cotton, born May 20, 1978 in Los Angeles, California, is currently the CEO of the Schea Cotton Basketball Academy (SCBA) and spends a lot of his time sharing his story in hopes to inspire the youth. He spent most of his younger years in the Los Angeles Harbor area of San Pedro, California as an athletic young boy with big dreams. Cotton made a name for himself in the basketball world beginning in the 6th grade. Some notable accolades are: 1995 CIF State Player of the Year, 1995 John Wooden High School Player of the Year, Parade All-American, McDonald’s All-American, JUCO All-American and All SEC at the University of Alabama.
