Join East End Volleyball in Long Beach this summer for some fun in the sand.  East End Volleyball runs beach volleyball leagues Tuesday and Wednesday from 6pm – sunset.  League play starts on Riverside Blvd and runs down to Edwards. The league is presented by e-blasting.com.  All league teams receive a volleyball from our key sponsor Spalding King of the Beach.  Each player will also get an EEVB 2016 league t-shirt thanks to South Shore Outdoors.

The league runs for 13 weeks throughout the summer with a free end of the season championship tournament on August 27 for all Long Beach league players.  Players have a choice between several divisions including 4s, and 6s.  The 6s division is separated by competitive and recreational play, while 4s is only competitive play.  Competitive divisions are for players who have played before and know the rules, while recreational divisions are for those who are just starting out, learning the game, and want to have fun. All 6s divisions are coed, and must have 2 females playing at all times.  4s can be any gender.  Divisions offered vary each night of the week.  Tuesdays will be Recreational 6s and Competitive 4s.  Wednesdays offer Competitive & Recreational 6s as well as Competitive 4s.  Each night, we encourage players to attend the after-play party at Minnesota’s, The Saloon, Speakeasy and The Inn.  Player’s parties offer drink specials for all league players.

For the 13-week season, the price for each division is $750/team.  A free National League Championship tournament is also included.  The tournament will take place on September 17, 2016 at The Beach Hut at Cedar Beach in Babylon, NY.  All teams are eligible to play, and all entry fees are free.  Players receive $5 towards food or beverage and two free drink tickets at the tournament.

Players of all ages and skill level are welcome and encouraged to play this summer.  For players who are new to the game, it is recommended that you start out in a recreational division.  Players who have been playing and know the rules should consider playing in a competitive division.  East End Volleyball has been running beach volleyball events since 1977.  Be a part of the fun in 2016 and help them celebrate 39 years of digging it in the sand.
