Chiumento Selis Dwyer Welcomes Douglas S. Williams as New Firm Partner

PALM COAST, Fla. - Jan. 25, 2016 - PRLog -- The law firm of Chiumento Selis Dwyer is pleased to announce that attorney Douglas Scott Williams has joined their firm as a partner.

“We have built a great relationship with Doug since we started working with him last year in an “of counsel” capacity and the timing was right to deepen the relationship and have him join us as a partner,” said Michael Chiumento, managing partner of the firm. “It’s always been our goal to provide the community with one law firm that people can rely on to serve any of their legal needs,” he added. Mr. Williams will handle the firm’s immigration, criminal and family law matters.

Mr. Williams’ Daytona Beach office has closed, and the firm has acquired his DeLand, FL location at 547 East NY Ave, #A. This brings the number of locations for the firm to three – Palm Coast, Ormond Beach and DeLand.

Since 1997 Doug has served the Volusia and Flagler communities representing people with immigration and complex criminal matters. With over 60 trials and more than 18 years of experience, Doug protects the rights of our community and helps families through the confusing Federal Immigration process and complex criminal matters.

Douglas Scott Williams received his law degree and Masters in Business Administration from Stetson University College of Law in 1997. Douglas is a former assistant state attorney. He has represented clients in Immigration, Criminal and Family law matters. He was admitted to U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida, U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida, and U.S. District Court Northern District of Florida in 1997. He is also a Member of AILA – American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Michael (Mike) D. Chiumento founded the firm in 1973. The firm currently employs ten attorneys and twelve support staff and paralegals.
