Nanomaterials and Occupational Exposure Concerns Discussed in New Video

PHOENIX - Jan. 24, 2016 - PRLog -- Today, the IAQ Video Network and Cochrane & Associates announced the release of their latest educational video.  Their newest production discusses occupational exposure concerns to nanomaterials.

“Nanomaterials have been manufactured, synthesized or manipulated to have a size with at least one dimension in the range of approximately 1 to 100 nanometers,” said Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane and Associates, the company behind the IAQ Video Network.  “At this size, these materials can exhibit unique properties. NIOSH reports that occupational health risks associated with manufacturing and using nanomaterials are not yet clearly understood. We hope this video helps to shed some light on potential exposure concerns to these materials.”
