Mt. Pleasant Blythedale UFSD Students and SEPTA to Host Educational Forum
State and Local Dignitaries to Participate in Discussion on "The Purpose of Education"
On January 22, the Mt. Pleasant Blythedale UFSD will host an Educational Forum to address “The Purpose of Education” and how the shift in education has impacted students with special needs.
The following state and local dignitaries have confirmed their attendance to date:
New York State Senator Terrence Murphy
New York State Assemblyman Thomas J. Abinanti
New York State Assemblymember Shelley Mayer
New York State Assemblywoman Amy Paulin
New York State Regent Kathleen M. Cashin
New York State Regent Judith Johnson
In addition, several patients and parents, as well as Mount Pleasant Blythedale UFSD Superintendent Ellen Bergman and Principal Emily Hersh, plan to speak on this important issue.
