International Jazz Day Foundation Launches Stratus Event Fundraiser

PHOENIX - Jan. 7, 2016 - PRLog -- The International Jazz Day Foundation is set to kick off a special jazz and blues fundraiser in January live from the city of Phoenix.

Kermit Ruffins & the BBQ Swingers are returning to the city of Phoenix for a special engagement concert featuring special guest vocalist,Nayo Jones.The popular jazz and blues ensemble is set to headline the city’s pre Mardi Gras BBQ, Blues & Brews Festival on January 23, 2016.

This special jazz and blues concert is scheduled to take place at the Stratus Event Center located at 2201 No 23rd Avenue in the city of Phoenix. The live show will serve as a fundraiser for the Nextstudent Academy, a nonprofit organization committed to youth and the arts.

The goal of the fundraiser will be to raise funds to assist youth gifted in music with opportunities for them to learn to play music with real musical instruments. Nextstudent Academy is a community based organization dedicated to implementing programs in the city of Phoenix where children are mentored in the areas of music education and the preservation of pure arts.
