UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital of Oakland, an organization providing Bay Area families with premiere medical care for over 100 years, was recognized, once again, as one of the nation's leading children’s hospitals according to the 2015-2016 U.S. Best Children’s Hospitals rankings conducted by the U.S. News Media Group. They have recently broken ground on a new, six-story, 89,000 square-foot outpatient center, the first part of a 10-year expansion project that includes rebuilding and modernizing the hospital. UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital of Oakland has never turned away a patient for their inability to pay.
