Pheasant Run Resort's Chef Warms Up National Soup Month with House Made Originals

ST. CHARLES, Ill. - Dec. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- January is National Soup Month and Executive Chef Tiffany Tooker offers plenty of options to take the chill off wintery days with original soups found on the menus of restaurants inside the popular Pheasant Run Resort near Chicago.

At Jambalaya restaurant, find delicious soups for $4 per cup or $5 per bowl including The Big Easy Seafood Gumbo, a spicy combination of shrimp, crawfish, andouille sausage and okra simmered in a cast iron skillet with a rich seafood broth, or the Smoked Amber Lager Cheese Soup.  This decadent soup is made with Pheasant Run Ring Neck Lager, creamy smoked aged cheddar and other assorted select cheeses topped off with diced smoked bacon and chopped scallions.

Jambalaya offers a hearty taste of the South, and some of the area’s best Cajun-Creole flavors in the area. Guests enjoy live music entertainment every Friday and Saturday from 10 p.m. – 1 a.m.

At Harvest restaurant, find classics including French Onion Au Gratin with gruyere, provolone, parmesan cheese for $7 and a Lobster & Shrimp Bisque featuring roasted lobster broth, brand infused shrimp and butter crostini for $10.
