Co-Developer of The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota Proposes $200 Million Modern Mixed-Use Waterfront Project

SARASOTA, Fla. - Dec. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- CORE Development Inc. – co-developer of The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota and the world-renowned, golf-centric community The Concession – is pleased to announce the proposed development of Cassia Cay, a modern mixed-use complex featuring six to eight waterfront restaurants, retail and office space, and luxury condominiums.

“Cassia Cay will give Sarasota a new perspective of living and dining on the waterfront,” stated developer Kevin Daves. “A Florida rediscovery of Sarasota Bay, this project is a logical progression for Sarasota County and just a short drive from Casey Key, The Oaks, Siesta Key and Palmer Ranch.”

The complex will also include a gated, 11-building waterfront village of 98 luxury sky homes. Residences begin at 2,500 square feet, and each is designated with two private garage parking spaces. As an environmentally conscious developer, CORE Development is dedicated to preserving the natural habitat for wildlife on the 31-acre site, with landscape buffers four times greater than county requirements. Groundbreaking is estimated to occur in late 2016 with an expected completion date in early 2018. Construction is projected to create over 500 jobs during development and over 300 permanent jobs once complete.
