The Arc Volusia Installs Seven New Board Members

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Dec. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- The Arc Volusia is pleased to announce that they have installed seven new board members. The new board members include Dr. Daniel Barnes of Barnes & McDonnell Pediatric Dentistry, Pastor Pete Keirstead, Lead/Founding Pastor at Thrive Community Church, Debra Simms, Esq., Shawn Abbatessa, Director of Market Developmentat the Halifax Area Advertising Authority, Judith Rees, Director of Procurement Services at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Deborah Sabotka, Assistant to the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at Halifax Health, and Trish McGetrick, Business Services Representative at CareerSource Flagler Volusia.

“We have put together a ‘dream team’ of board members,” said David James, CEO, The Arc Volusia. “I feel blessed that each and every one of our board has a passion for helping our clients and assisting their families in continuing to find the proper care and assistance they may need,” he added.

There are a total of 16 board members, and each term is a three-year term.

The Arc's community impact focuses in four areas- education, employment, health and basic needs. The Arc Volusia is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 4:00pm.
