Zero Tolerance for abuse is Key in Breaking the 'Curse' of Domestic Violence in Australia

Nov. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- The stats in Australia when it comes to Domestic Violence are pretty grimm. As many people continue to wake up to graphic and horrific news of another death due to domestic violence each week, there has never been a better time to think about long term solutions to this national crisis.

Speaking recently to celebrate the launch of one of his Digital ebooks, Three Signs You Are Dating Jezebel ( An Abuser). Wisdom went on to say

' One of the key things is redefining our relationships and what is acceptable and what’s not. One of the fundamentals is establishing healthy boundaries. This needs to be established in the life of the young people.  Abuse from a man or from a woman, should not be tolerated. Our young people must be able to walk away on the early onset of abuse. The inability to walk away early is what eventually allows situations to become worse, till people encounter violence"

By establishing healthy boundaries early, the next generation can look forward to better relationships that lead to minimal if at all cases of domestic violence. Apple is widely knowing for adopting the ‘catch them young’ policy in terms of their product ecosystem.

Wisdom believes that ‘catching them young’ will ensure the next generation grows up with healthy and vibrant relationships that lead to a life of purpose and destiny!

Relationships are supposed to be a place of joy and should bring life to someone not take it. By adopting a few key fundamentals and with a long term strategic view and continual support for those already in dire situations the war against domestic violence can be worn.However its going to need a multifaceted approach and men must be involved in that discussion too.

Sometimes men are often silent victims of domestic violence. We must never forget that even men too can often be abused and violated and it can be much tougher for men to come out and seek help and admit that they are in that situation.

A healthy discussion that involves every demographic will surely go a long way in combating and winning this battle of domestic violence.
