ALL IN Media House to Host 2015 College Poker Tour National Championships

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Nov. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- On October 12, 2015, ALL IN Media House announced it will host the 2015 College Poker Tour (CPT) National Championships in Scottsdale, Arizona. On Saturday, November 14, students will compete at the CPT final table in hopes of winning a coveted trophy, a $10,000 scholarship, and the honor of holding the 2015 CPT National Championships title.

Over the past two collegiate semesters, thousands of students from across the United States played in hundreds of daily and weekly qualifiers, battling for ranking points to secure their spot in various playoff rounds. After earning playoff positions, students competed in a preliminary tournament in which the top nine players advanced to the final table. All tournaments were played online and streamed live on Twitch.

CPT’s Executive Director Brad Lonson said, “We are pleased to have such intellectual and inspiring student-athletes competing at this year’s final table. The CPT National Championships is the first of its kind and it is gratifying to give students the opportunity to play on a platform at such a competitive level.” Lonson added, “Poker is growing and we are watching history being made at the highest collegiate level.”

The nine student-athlete finalists will be provided with an all-expenses-paid trip to Scottsdale, where the CPT final table will be hosted at a private estate. Throughout the weekend’s festivities, the CPT team will feature special surprise guests to keep players and audiences entertained.

This is the second year ALL IN will be hosting the CPT National Championships, and the third season is already in progress.
