The Mass Media Group has been chosen as one of South Carolina’s 25 Fastest Growing Companies

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Oct. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- The Mass Media Group has been chosen as one of South Carolina’s 25 Fastest Growing Companies. The winners were honored at a luncheon at the Columbia Marriott Oct. 20.

The Mass Media Group with offices in Greenville specializes in the purchase of TV & Radio airtime for a variety of half and full hour programs across the country and on 4 continents. MMG helps companies with name and lead generation in most industries by creating their own weekly “infomercial” for the business.

To be eligible for the SC 25 Fastest Growing Companies Award, the company must be headquartered in South Carolina and be in business for at least three years and show revenues of over $3M. They are judged on the growth of their income over the last three years, and the growth of their employment. Scott & Company audits their tax returns and their federal employee tax filings to verify income and employee growth over the period.

Representatives of the sponsors make on-site visits of nominees to interview key personnel and view company operations. Once all the data is in hand, the selections are made. Winners are notified, but not given their ranking until the awards luncheon. Two awards were added this year and presented to Benefitfocus, Inc. for largest employment growth and Quality Business Solutions for largest revenue growth.

The keynote speaker of this year’s ceremony was Manfred Erlacher, President and CEO, BMW Manufacturing, Co. Efren Afante, Meteorologist with WLTX was emcee.
