PODS® of Phoenix Hosts Annual Halloween Monster Bash to Give Back to Arizona Food

PHOENIX - Oct. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- In an effort to help those less fortunate, PODS of Phoenix is teaming up with KTAR FM/AM and Arizona Sport KMVP for the “Pack the PODS Container” spooktacular food drive to collect non-perishable food donations to benefit St. Mary’s Food Bank.  On Oct. 30, ghosts, goblins and their families will receive free admission to the annual Halloween Monster Bash at Peoria Sports Complex where a PODS container will be on hand to serve as a collection point.

Attendees will be treated to a plethora of family- friendly carnival games, make and take crafts, as well as frightfully good entertainment.

“PODS is thrilled to be a part of such a fun charity event,” said Steven Figueroa.  “We love being able to support and give back to our local community charities, especially one that does so much for people in need.”

St. Mary’s Food Bank provides nutritious food and grocery products to nonprofit organizations and individuals throughout Arizona, while offering hunger education programs to the community and those in need. St. Mary’s, a member of Feeding America, channels donated products to area soup kitchens, pantries, senior and daycare centers, drug and alcohol treatment centers, homeless shelters and other nonprofit food programs that feed the needy.
