AlphaOne Hosts Amritsar’s 3rd Open Body-Building Championship

Northern Strength Building Federation of India & Royal Enfield

AlphaOne partnered the Northern Strength Building Federation of India and Royal Enfield to host an awe-inspiring and power-packed event, the 3rd Open Body-Building Championship 2015, on Sunday, October 11, 2015. The event was part of their ‘Be The Change Club’, initiative with the slogan, 'Say Yes to Health and Say No to Drugs.' Over 170 participants participated in 4 categories including, Overall Strength Building, Bench-Press, Push-ups and Best Biceps Championship.

Mr. Gurpreet Singh became the winner of Bench Press; Mr. Ishu from Ludhiana won in the category of Pushups and Mr. Natish Sharma became the winner of Best Biceps among others. The winners were declared in the presence of an encouraging audience that whole-heartedly viewed and enjoyed the performances. The winners and meritorious participants in different weight categories were given Trophies, Certificates and Gifts.

Dr. Prodipta Sen, Alpha G:Corp thanked the Coordinators, Customers and Visitors present. “We are extremely delighted to facilitate this memorable event along with North India Strength Building Federation and Royal Enfield. The Open Body Building Championship is an annual event that we started 3 years back under our Amritsar Sparkling and Be The Change Club initiatives to encourage the youth towards overall body health and mainly to spread awareness against drug addiction. We feel proud of every contribution we can make in fostering a healthy and aware society. We will continue our interactions with the people of Amritsar and open many other vistas for them to display their talents in wholesome activities like this at AlphaOne.”

AlphaOne also hosted a Mega Open Talent Hunt Show, ‘Mera Talent Meri Pehchan’ on October 11, 2015. Over 150 students participated and displayed their talents in the presence of an enthusiastic audience. The competition was judged by Comedian, Ghulle Shah, Actor, Jaggi Singh, Music Director, Harjinder Sohal, among others. The students won gifts and certificates for their unique talents.
