By: Elva NelsonHayes THIS PERK ENDS THE DAY OF THE EVENT - OCTOBER 27 Elva NelsonHayes, the producer of the "What's In A Name" movie which is based on her first book, The UNNAMED. It's important for her to get this film out because it chronicles a young girl, Opal's, quest for self identity as she comes of age amidst teenage feuding parents. She carries the pain of her heartbroken mother who intentionally named her after the wrong man. She carries the guilt of her womanizing father who abandoned her pregnant mother. She's wracked with the guilt of their fighting as she confuses loving one parent with betraying the other. She struggles to define her self through her polar opposite parents, neither of whom will tell her the truth of why she was misnamed. This story addresses family relationships, fighting parents and family secrets that you see from the child's perspective and how they effects her identity. This story has a lesson of redemption for every member of the family. We need your help to get this film made. • This film will entertain and inspire not only the viewers who can see themselves in the characters and be empowered • We want to encourage other authors and playwrights to take their stories from script to screen • Our hopes that with all our energies, resources and skills combined, we will turn out a product that will awaken new and prosperous opportunities. • Your contributions will help us achieve the goal of entertaining, educating, and inspiring people with my story..
