Follow on Google News | Mary Hall Freedom House 3rd Annual Women Who Win TeaSpecial guest speaker for Women Who Win is Monica Pearson who served Atlanta as news anchor on WSB-2 TV for 37 years and was the first African-American woman to anchor prime time news in Atlanta. Mary Hall Freedom House is a community of hope that empowers women to break the cycle of addiction, poverty and homelessness for themselves and their children. They start by lending a hand when women are at their most vulnerable, by providing them a community of people and services that envelop them. This foundation of caring helps women create a new beginning. The comprehensive approach provides career, faith, family, housing, medical, and recovery services– but in everything they do, the main ingredient is love. Lucy Hall-Gainer founded Mary Hall Freedom House eighteen years ago as an organization focused on recovery. We now offer more than thirty services and have given thousands of women a fresh start – a chance to dream again and live anew. The Tea, Women Who Win, is chaired by Mary Mobley, Henrietta Snow, and Kristine Turner who have encouraged more than 15 Mary Hall Freedom House alumni to serve as table hosts and use their creativity to provide lovely table settings. In addition to hearing from Monica Pearson, influential and caring women who attend the tea will be inspired by songs, the launch of Winning Circle, enjoy delicious food, and be entertained by the festival of hats parade. Women Who Win will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at 8750 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs, GA 30350. For tables and tickets, order online at samala.carrington@ End
